Chris has more than 15 years of experience working with technology clients. He has assisted many emerging growth companies with international expansion opportunities and holdings to help them meet their strategic business goals. Chris specializes in dealing with revenue recognition and equity issues, as well as SEC and public reporting expertise. He serves as an advisor to many pre-funded and recently funded start-ups and is the leader of Ernst & Young's Mid-Atlantic Area Venture Capital Advisory Group. Chris's recent clients include Blackboard, Inc. and Cysive Inc., as well as past work on Clear Channel Communications and Hearst-Argyle Television.
Chris is highly active in the Greater Washington technology community, in such organizations like the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA), the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), among others. In addition, Chris was named one of Washington Business Forward's 2000 Next Network, a group of forty individuals expected to dramatically impact the Greater Washington business community.
