Stephen M. Fredrick Novak Biddle Venture Partners
Stephen M. Fredrick joined Novak Biddle in 1997 and focuses on investments in communications, software, and information technology. He currently serves as a director for Paratek, Optinel Systems, Princeton Optronics, XtremeSpectrum, and Zagros Networks. He is involved as a board observer at Luna Technologies and served as a Director for Woodwind Communications prior to its acquisition by VINA.
Prior to NBVP, Steve co-founded MSC/Teklanika Data Systems, a software development and workgroup computing company. He previously worked for a venture-funded document imaging start-up, until it was acquired. Steve started his career in research and development at IBM where his work focused on signal processing and massively parallel computing architectures.
Steve is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Virginia Tech and holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering.
