Rami Habal

Rami Habal joined MDV in September 2001 and works from the firm's Reston, Virginia office. He focuses on the areas of enterprise software, telecom, and internet infrastructure. Prior to joining MDV, Rami completed dual masters degrees in business administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and in public administration from Harvard's Kennedy School.
Rami has held engineering, business development, marketing, sales, and management positions at Cisco, Andersen Consulting, Hughes Network Systems, GTE and several software startups. He also has a masters in computer science, specializing in data communications, from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia.
At MIT, he was heavily involved with the school's high tech and venture capital clubs, and co-founded e-MIT, an online entrepreneurship community. Rami continues to be an active member of the MIT alumni community.
